Choosing was very difficult – we really liked the sauna with the perforated wall, but in the end practicality won. I knew the sauna would be used by a maximum of two people, so the Mini version met all the space requirements perfectly. I was also very tempted by the possibility of choosing various colour combinations and – if I may put it this way – I was charmed by the cuteness of this particular sauna in your portfolio.
It’s true that I was initially worried about the space. I was the first customer to choose this type of sauna, so I didn’t have the chance to see it or try it out beforehand. But those worries disappeared the moment it was placed in its prepared spot. Not only is the space entirely sufficient and looks just right from the outside, but thanks to the glazed view, it feels very pleasant inside as well.
I’m really glad I was eventually able to choose a stove from HUUM, designed for soft-steam sauna bathing with full, gentle steam. I had no experience with this type of steam before, and I’m thrilled. As we’re still shaping the area around the sauna, I believe we’ll soon enjoy the cooling-off and subsequent relaxation even more in an environment that will naturally invite regeneration.

The ritual starts with lighting the stove. There’s the joy of kindling the fire, preparing our favourite fizzy drink to quench our thirst, and a scrub at the end of the session. I’ve also learnt that roasting sausages belongs to the sauna experience too – every now and then we include this “ritual” and enjoy it immensely. During the session I also use essential oils and herbs.
Absolutely. The sauna draws us outside in any weather, and it’s wonderful to see the garden through the glazed view from a different angle. Sauna bathing and cooling off have an especially unique atmosphere when everything is covered in snow.

We’re building a small terrace around the sauna, where we’ll place the cooling tub and, later on, a shower. Around it I’ve created beds with perennials and grasses, and I can’t wait for everything to grow and surround the sauna with various colours and textures of flowers and foliage. Finally, we’ll complete this relaxation corner with comfortable chairs so everything harmonises nicely and entices us to unwind.
I took the Live in Your Garden course, where each lesson presented different ways to improve your garden and spend more time outdoors. For quite some time I’d wanted to transform my garden – I wasn’t happy with the traditional look of a lawn bordered by a hedge. But I lacked ideas and inspiration. Thanks to the course, I began to perceive the garden differently – as a space that reflects me just as much as my home does. I fell in love with perennials, we created an outdoor gym for the children, we built a fire pit…
I actually never thought about having a sauna. I’m a very active person and I never really sought relaxation in saunas. But recently I’ve felt the need to change my pace of life – to calm down, switch off and stay fit for as long as possible. Considering the countless benefits sauna bathing brings, I started thinking about having my own sauna independently of the course. But in a way, it fits perfectly with its philosophy. What convinced me in the end were recommendations from acquaintances and friends around me. It’s truly a much better experience than using a public sauna in various wellness centres – at least for me.
To plant varieties of trees I hadn’t previously considered – or hadn’t even come across – such as witch hazel, Malus ‘Evereste’, or a multi-stem birch. We’d like to finish the outdoor gym and, above all, plant perennials, perennials and – lastly but not least – more perennials!
To year-round colour, diversity, and the joy of completed projects… and also to looking forward to new ones.
