Community sauna in Žaba

Four friends and a strong community around them are behind this project. For several years now, they have dreamed that in Fryšták, just a few kilometers from Zlín, a place to meet and relax — a community sauna by the pond. Thanks to our mobile workshop, you can now try saunas in Fryšták by the end of 2025.

The temporary community Sauna na Zabá, bearing the name by which locals refer to a small area of water, stands on the outskirts of the village, where houses end and forests and cycle paths begin. It will remain in the village until the end of 2025. In December, we will definitely sweat you out a Christmas community sauna by the pond, which we will keep you informed about.

The sauna stands on a small beach, there is a pub and a children's playground nearby. The village of Fryšták has recently taken ownership of the pond and is preparing a project to repair the dam and dewatering. In the future, a broader revitalization of the entire space is planned. If the sauna proves successful, the stove on the shore of the Frogs will ignite regularly.
